Find a Doctor in Your Language with Navii

Use Navii to shortlist facilities, then call about your planned visit. Keep the answers together so you know where to go, what to bring and what still needs arranging.

Search by place, specialty and language

Navii covers hospitals, clinics, dental practices and pharmacies nationwide. For medical institutions, choose the detailed search and filter by location, specialty and foreign language under the basic criteria.

Confirm the language available for your visit

A translated screen does not establish the language available during consultation. Ask: “Can I have a consultation in English on the date I plan to visit? Would I need an interpreter, and how is that arranged?”

Call before deciding where to go

Ask: “Does this department handle my reason for visiting? When does reception close? Do I need an appointment? What insurance information should I bring, and how will you check it?” A listing does not guarantee same-day care, an appointment, interpretation, insurance coverage or the final cost.

If your search does not help

Widen the area while keeping the appropriate specialty. Use the quick search for facilities open now, on holidays or at night, then call. Record the facility, department, planned date, reception or appointment time, language arrangements and unanswered questions.

Checklist before you contact the service

  • Choose your location, specialty and preferred consultation language.
  • Confirm reception hours and whether an appointment is needed.
  • Ask how language support and insurance checks are arranged.
  • Write down the agreed next step and unanswered questions.

What if I cannot explain everything by phone?
